Coronavirus - ICT Solutions

ICT Solutions (part of Norfolk County Council) acknowledges that employers have a vital role to play by taking sensible action to prevent the spread of COVID-19 such as ensuring that our staff are following the latest guidance from World Health Organisation’s (WHO), Public Health England and Norfolk County Council.

Our staff have been advised:

  • To maintain good hygiene i.e. regular hand washing, using hand sanitiser, dispose of used tissues
  • To remain working from home and only attend Customer sites when the task cannot be carried out remotely
  • Adhere to any COVID measures adopted on Customer sites
  • Any training courses are delivered on line and all “in person” training is suspended
  • Social Distancing must always be in place between our own staff and school staff
  • For those staff visiting schools or delivering laptops they will use the most appropriate method of transport depending on distance and items they need to carry. In most cases this will be via car
  • Our staff will not car share with people outside of their household when commuting or carrying out Customer site visits
  • Only required number of staff members to carry out the onsite work will be used
  • Technicians bubbles are in place where required on larger installations
  • We have a no signature policy in place, name only taken

Employees are aware of the symptoms and understand that they must go home immediately where possible no matter how mild their symptoms are.

ICT Solutions continues to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation very carefully. Our customers, partners and employee’s health and safety remain our absolute priority and as such, our actions are guided by the latest advice from the World Health Organisation (WHO), Public Health England and Norfolk County Council.

We are regularly updating employees on the situation and on necessary precautions to take, based upon this advice.
